The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel loved, respected, and encouraged to grow. Children thrive when they know they are cared for, listened to, and supported as they learn about the world around them.
A great nanny is more than a caregiver—they become a trusted, positive influence in a child's life. I believe in fostering confidence, curiosity, kindness, and independence while maintaining open communication with parents and respecting each family's values and routines.
My goal is always to provide families with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe, engaged, and cared for with patience, compassion, and genuine dedication.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs individuals includes working as a Direct Support Professional and caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities. In this role, I provided person-centered care, assisted with activities of daily living, administered medications, supported behavioral needs, encouraged community involvement, and helped individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
Through this experience, I developed patience, compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to each individual's unique needs. I understand the importance of consistency, structure, positive reinforcement, and creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel respected, valued, and empowered.
While every child is unique, my experience has prepared me to work with individuals who require additional support, specialized routines, behavioral guidance, or accommodations. I approach each person with understanding and empathy.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments caring for children is watching them master something they have been working hard to learn, whether it's taking their first steps, learning a new skill, gaining confidence, or accomplishing a goal they were unsure they could achieve. Seeing the excitement and pride on a child's face when they realize they can do something on their own is incredibly rewarding.
I enjoy being a positive influence in a child's life, encouraging them, celebrating their accomplishments, and helping them feel safe, confident, and supported as they grow. Those everyday moments of learning, laughter, and discovery are what make caring for children so meaningful to me.
