More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have four years of experience working with children as a swim coach, where I taught kids of various ages not only swimming techniques but also water safety and confidence-building skills. My coaching role involved creating structured, engaging lessons that supported each child’s development, both in and out of the water. Additionally, I have experience as a babysitter, where I provided nurturing, hands-on care. In both roles, I created safe and fun environments, developed age-appropriate activities, and maintained open communication with parents to ensure consistent, quality care for each child.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love organizing a variety of activities that promote children’s physical, intellectual, and creative growth. For outdoor fun, I plan active games like tag, obstacle courses, and nature walks, encouraging coordination and exploration. I’m also excited to offer swimming lessons, where I can teach kids water safety, beginner swim techniques, and confidence in the water through fun games and skill-building exercises.
Indoors, I enjoy setting up creative activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational games to spark curiosity and imagination. I also plan hands-on projects, like simple science experiments or baking, to introduce basic learning concepts in an enjoyable way. For quieter moments, I provide books, puzzles, and guided play activities to develop focus and independent play skills.
I’m always flexible, adjusting activities to suit each child’s interests and energy levels, ensuring they stay engaged, learn, and have fun every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment where children feel valued and supported. Children thrive when they know they have someone who is consistently there for them, encouraging their growth, and understanding their unique personalities and needs. A nanny’s role goes beyond simply supervising; it’s about building a relationship where a child feels secure enough to explore, learn, and express themselves freely.
By providing stability, empathy, and positive reinforcement, a nanny can make a lasting impact, helping children develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. This foundation of trust and care is essential, as it supports a child’s overall development and gives them a positive, dependable influence to rely on.

My experience with special needs children...
I have valuable experience working with special needs children, including those with autism, hearing impairments, and nonverbal needs. In my previous roles, I’ve developed patience, adaptability, and a strong understanding of how to create a supportive environment tailored to each child’s unique communication and learning style. I’ve learned to use visual aids, sign language basics, and sensory-friendly activities to engage children effectively and help them feel comfortable and confident.
Additionally, my mother is a special needs teacher, so I grew up with a firsthand understanding of the dedication and skills involved in caring for children with diverse needs. Her guidance has helped me gain insight into effective techniques and the importance of empathy, which I carry into every interaction with the children I support.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny happened one summer day when I was teaching a child I cared for to swim. They’d been hesitant around water, so we spent a lot of time getting comfortable with small steps: splashing, kicking from the pool’s edge, and holding onto my hands in the shallow end. After several days, I could see their confidence growing, and they were finally ready to try floating on their own.
When they let go and floated by themselves, their face lit up with such a huge smile. Seeing that pride and joy from accomplishing something that had once been so scary was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me why I love working with children—their small victories feel like big milestones, and being a part of their growth and confidence-building is something truly special. Moments like that are what make nannying so fulfilling for me.
