Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked at the YMCA back in 1991 on Linwood Blvd for about 2 years with children age 6 months to 4 years old. This included changing diapers bottle feeding and the older kids were snacks and helping with bathroom runs. The older children were less lightly to be to themselves or playing games.

I love kids they are so funny and has their own personality and getting to know them is awesome. I love a child who is nice and able to be told when and how to act with their siblings and just overall respectful even to me.

My experience with special needs children...
My patience is great with children. My grandson has autism He is 12 years old now and I found out that letting them be them and not pushing them to talk faster if they are slow to speak is not the correct way to help them. You have to put yourself sort of on their level to comfort them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My 4 kids were all active and we would always sit at the table to do homework and eat dinner together and we would talk about something that the sibling had done in the past that was funny or just tell about their day. Communication between me and my children was a must.
