More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT), Formal Preschool Lead Teacher 3+ years. Sunday school teacher for 2nd-3rd graders, Who’s- who volunteer, Proud aunt of 4 and mother of 2.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in role-playing games that spark imagination and support early speech development. Some of our favorite themes include teacher and student, grocery store, running errands, firefighter adventures, dragons and princesses, doctor visits, and dentist checkups.
I also enjoy hands-on STEM activities that encourage curiosity and problem-solving, as well as arts and crafts using manipulatives to support fine and gross motor development. My goal is to make learning playful, meaningful, and fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is keeping a good routine while staying flexible. Kids (and parents!) do best when things are consistent, but life happens—being able to adapt while keeping things running smoothly really helps everyone thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
**Completed an RBT COURSE & Ceritified. **I have experience with 3 different sets of children who were on the spectrum. I cared for a family where one 8m twin was on the spectrum for 2+ yrs. I then cared for another precious 18m considered to be severely autistic for 1yr. The joy was seeing him develop emotionally through 1:1 play (just he and I) play included phonics, signing, and consistently playing/ attending story time with a friend. Last family was a 2.5yr girl whom I watched overnight. Our schedule consisted of story time/storytelling, bedtime and sleep assistance. She woke up between 2-3am every night. Working her rhythm, I learned to sing educational songs, practice mirrioring verbal phonics & other educational games with her while she was awake. It was quite enjoyable to stimulate her before she would sleep again at 5am. She would then wake by 9am (when I’d leave) ready for speech therapy and other enrichment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was helping a baby take his first steps at just 8 months. I also supported another infant through physical delays, and watching him progress was incredibly rewarding.
