I have gained valuable experience caring for and mentoring children and young people through several leadership and community focused roles. I served as a prefect at school, where I supported younger students, helped maintain a positive environment, and acted as a role model within the student community. I have also been involved with Girl Up, where I developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills through youth-focused initiatives and advocacy work.
Additionally, I led my “Breaking Barriers and Unleashing Women’s Potential in Politics and Democracy” mentorship project in Malawi, which focused on empowering and guiding girls and young women through workshops, discussions, and supportive mentorship activities. These experiences strengthened my ability to work with children and young people in a patient, responsible, supportive, and engaging manner.
