I have extensive experience as a middle school science teacher, private educator, tutor, and Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth instructor, where I have taught robotics and STEM since 2018. Beyond the classroom, I have worked closely with families providing childcare, school transportation, homework support, enrichment activities, and individualized academic instruction. My experience also includes working as a swim instructor and outdoor kayaking guide. I enjoy creating engaging, hands-on learning opportunities while supporting children’s safety, confidence, independence, and overall development. I am comfortable collaborating with parents and household teams and adapting to each family’s changing needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love staying active and exploring new adventures with children! Some of my favorite activities include roller skating, swimming in the ocean or pool, bicycling, kayaking, hiking, and exploring nature. I also enjoy visiting museums, aquariums, zoos, and discovering new places together. Indoors, I love hands-on science experiments, robotics, LEGO building, arts and crafts, reading, baking, and creative projects. I especially enjoy finding activities that match each child’s interests, spark curiosity, build confidence, and make learning feel like play!

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel valued and families feel confident and at ease. I believe in anticipating needs, maintaining consistency, and making daily routines and transitions feel effortless and seamless. My goal is to be a dependable, proactive presence who adapts naturally to changing schedules and priorities while maintaining a calm, positive atmosphere. I value open communication, trust, discretion, and working collaboratively with parents and household staff. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was having the opportunity to take a child on an unforgettable behind-the-scenes dolphin swim experience in Orlando, Florida. Sharing the excitement of being up close with these incredible animals and experiencing something so special together was truly memorable. I love creating opportunities for children to explore the world, try new things, and make lasting memories. For me, the best part of being a nanny is sharing those moments of wonder, excitement, and discovery!
