Another way I satisfy my curiosity is through academic endeavors. I earned a B.A. in Psychology, and a minor in Education Studies from Grinnell College where I became invested in the cognitive mechanisms of learning, and the influences of environment on learning. Heavy academics required a place of respite, which I found on the track with my teammates. Even after college, I continue to find refuge in running, and in the ocean with my surfboard.
