Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I spent a fair amount of time volunteering at homeless shelters, and local elementary schools. Where I taught elementary school aged children Spanish. I also worked at a Child Care center for two years. I started the school aged center. Where I cared for kindergarten and up. I then transferred to the baby center. Where I took care of new borns, up to pre-schoolers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending time with the kids. As it’s the best part of the job! On rainy days I love to bake with the kids. I enjoy coloring together, and reading books. On sunny days, (which I enjoy most) we will go on walks, have picnics, go to local children events, and of course play in the water!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is the impact I make on a child’s life. You ultimately are there for everything, and become someone they trust and depend on. You create a relationship that teaches you both a lot.

My experience with special needs children...

At the Daycare I worked at, I looked after children with special needs. Such as autism, and other behavioral needs. I am very patient, and will take on children who do have special needs.
