I have babysat for multiple people from friends to family friends. The last family I babysat for had 3 kids, two twin boys and a teenage daughter.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a creative person so anything that has to do with art like coloring, drawing, painting, etc. Board games and card games are fun to play as well, especially memory games because it gets the children to think and focus more. Outdoor games that I find children enjoy are soccer, volleyball, tag, hopscotch, jump rope, etc. Dancing and listening to music is an activity I enjoy doing with children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to build bonds with the children that you work with and with the family. It makes things easier and most comfortable for everybody. I also think taking time to know children individually because everyone thinks differently and we’re all unique in our own ways.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting the family that I had babysat for last, they have 3 children. Two twin boys and a teenage daughter. Often times when I would babysit them their parents would order pizza and we would all eat together, they would tell a lot of jokes and talk about their day. I babysat the three of them for a long time and there were many other times that were fun like going on walks and listen to music and dancing. I think these moments are my favorite because you get to be part of the reason that a child has a better day and is able to just have fun.
