More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
As a teenager I assisted in caring for my young siblings, including plenty of babysitting.
I worked as a regular babysitter for a family of 3 kiddos under age 10 for roughly a year.
I spent 1 year working as an assistant teacher at a Montessori preschool, where I cared for children of various ages from 8 months to to around 9 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I'm very creative so I really enjoy doing crafty/artsy things like paper mache, homemade soap/playdough/candles, shaving cream play, and other sensory-rich and artsy projects. I'm full of ideas for any age group:)
I also have a "dramatic" streak so if your kids are into it, I'm all about puppet plays, talent shows, and OF COURSE surprise theatre productions for the parents. It brings me back to my childhood!
I believe in lifelong learning. It's important to me to nurture each individual child's curiosity by providing new and rewarding experiences for them. I enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of the little ones, so it brings me joy to go on outings to museums, childrens community events, or even just out for a nature walk.
I can be an attentive listener and friend, and what really gives me purpose is knowing I can make a difference in a child's life, even just in their earliest memories, that will impact the way they see the world and how much they believe in themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My top 3 priorities when it comes to nannying are:
1) Safety of the child!!! Of course, every child deserves to be both physically and emotionally safe. I will always put this first because as a nanny I have a heavy responsibility towards the parent(s) and the child themselves to protect and defend them.
2) Communication with the parent/guardian... I believe that (aside from situations of abuse or neglect, of course) it is a parent's right to raise their child as they see fit, and to have control of the influences their children are exposed to. As a nanny I see my role as one of careful attention to any guidance and direction from the parents. I am committed to clear and honest communication so that parents will always be aware of and satisfied with what their children are experiencing while in my care.
3) My third priority is to make sure the children in my care are having fun & learning new things, and that they can see that I'm on their side and really available to them.

My experience with special needs children...
I have 3 siblings who are on the Autism Spectrum sand another 2 with high anxiety.
I have not been the primary caregiver for any child with special needs in my career so far (even on a babysitting level), although I've been around children with special needs and have experience with a wide variety of needs.
I have really good patience and I learn quickly.

My name is Jessica (Jessy), I am very responsible, I always try to put work a priority in my life, so whenever you need me I will do everything to be available and help. I will always be studying to know how to take care of the child in the best way, I love children I will give them a lot of affection and I will do everything to deserve the child's affection, I like to play, feeling useful is one of the things that makes me the happiest, I don't like to think at work just like a job and yes as something that makes me happy, that's why I always try to work with what I like. I am patient and I know that children sometimes find it difficult to express what they are feeling, I will try to understand them as best I can to help them with what they need. I love children, I love to see them smile, and making them happy will be my priority. I always say that children can transform anyone to be better every day, they have a purity and a light that it is impossible not to love them.
