I’ve also supported a child with autism in a school setting, where I helped monitor and assist with their needs during the day. I enjoy a wide range of activities with children, depending on what they like! I’m always happy to get creative with things like arts and crafts, coloring, pretend play (whether that’s princesses or superheroes), and playing with toys. I also love staying active outdoors—playing games like soccer, going to the park, or just having fun outside.
At the same time, I’m very attentive to each child’s needs and mood. If they’d rather relax, read, or have quiet time, I’m more than happy to do that too. My goal is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable and happy.

What matters most to me about being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. I want them to feel comfortable being themselves, whether that’s playing, learning, or just needing someone to listen.
I also value building trust—not just with the children, but with the family as well. Knowing that parents can rely on me and that their children feel happy and secure in my care is the most important thing to me.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, including my nephew and several younger cousins who I’ve helped care for since they were very young. Through this, I’ve developed patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs and routines.
I also take the time to learn more about how to best support children with different needs, and I’m always open to learning and gaining experience with a wider range of special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was caring for two siblings—a newborn and their toddler sibling. It was so special to watch their bond and how much love they had for each other, even at such a young age.
