Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At one point I cared for my nieces and nephews when they were babies. They would come over every day or sometimes spend the night at my house and I would cook for them, make bottles, rock them, watch television with them, take them to parks, etc. I also cared for younger siblings the same way. I was doing this for about 4 years until they were old enough to do most things for themselves or until their parents became less occupied. I loved this job because seeing children happy make me happy and to me, that’s what it’s all about. Making sure the kids are happy and making sure I’m getting the job done correctly - enough to satisfy parents also.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is not about the money in my opinion. It is about knowing you’re helping someone out and making their children happy. Possibly even creating bonds with the children and getting to know the family and building trust.
