A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Fanny Mugwaneza, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a nanny. I am a college student majoring in nursing. I have worked as a Patient Care Assistant and a certified Nurse Assistant in senior living facilities and hospitals. I have always had a deep passion for working with children and to help people in general. I have never worked as a nanny but I am well experienced in childcare. I have raised most of my nieces and nephews, I have also done babysitting for family members and friends, I have so much love for children and enjoy being around them.
I am known for patience, responsibility, and cheerful disposition, qualities that I believe are essential in providing a supportive and positive environment for children.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy working out, taking walks outside and spending time with my loved ones. I am eager to bring my skills and experience to your family and help provide the nurturing care that your children deserve.
Thank you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I currently work as a Nurse Assistant, I care for elderly people/patients. I’m experienced enough in terms of giving care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking walks/play at the park, taking a ride to fun stores such as ice cream store or any store that has something that a child would enjoy, I’m always open to any activity that interests a child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most rewarding part about being a nanny is the opportunity to form meaningful and lasting relationships with the children and their families. Knowing that you play a crucial role in their happiness and well-being makes being a nanny a truly special experience.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the opportunity to volunteer in Sunday school at my church every Sunday, where I get to support children with diverse needs. I’ve also provided care for my little cousin who’s blind by creating an inclusive environment that accommodated his unique requirements such as adapting educational materials to be more tactile and auditory. I also facilitated mobility by using mobility aids to encourage independence. Seeing the positive impact on the children’s growth and confidence throughout my experience had been incredibly rewarding. My commitment to this work is driven by a deep passion for helping children reach their full potential, and I continuously seek opportunities to expand my skills and understanding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I helped my little niece whom I’ve babysat since she was a toddler overcome the fear of riding a bicycle. I encouraged her overcome her fears with positivity and patience cheering her up for every little success she made along the way. Seeing her excitement and sense of accomplishment was absolutely amazing. It was a beautiful reminder of the impact of patience, encouragement, and support in helping children overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Kelsey T. - Seeking Work in Hillsborough

Full-Time Nanny Available in Hillsborough, NC: Kelsey T.

I am a current infant room teacher at a childcare center and have been in child care for 3 and a half years. Throughout my time in early childhood education I have grown a passion for assisting families navigate the challenges that parenting brings. I not only enjoy supporting the children in my care but also being a trusted resource for parents so that they feel comfortable and supported as well. I am a mom myself so I know that children don’t come with instruction manuals and sometimes it can get overwhelming! Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers ensuring they are set up for success and meet all their milestones. I am CPR and first aid certified, and I have an infant safe sleep certificate. I also have taken infant/toddler related college classes to further gain knowledge on that age group.
