When a child slips their delicate, tiny hands into mine or gives me a warm, loving hug. When the child makes sweet comments. The beautiful sound of a child’s laughters & giggles.

I remember this one time when the child that I was caring for said that she loved me. My heart fluttered with so much joy. I felt as if I had just accomplished something big in my life. It felt so good to have made an impact in her life that positively, that she felt comfortable enough to share her love with me.
