"Fawn is one of the best nannies you could find in the world. She is professional, gentle and truly loves babies. She cared for our 6-month-old baby girl and we all loved her. She's always punctual and works hard. She takes care of not only the baby, but also the whole family, by helping out with chores and comforting the postpartum mom. When caring for our baby, she not only does the usual job (changing diapers, feeding etc) fantastically, but also spends efforts to learn about our baby's character, so that she could best suit her needs. Our baby has bad eczema, and Fawn practiced with extra caution by always keeping her hands clean, not wearing perfumes and only used gentle lotions on herself. She continues to think about our baby's needs even when she's off work, and would come up with great suggestions for the baby's development. Fawn is also equipped with Montessori knowledge which is helpful in babies' early education. In sum, I highly recommend Fawn to whoever needs a nanny."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
After my first child was born, I started doing on-site property management in order to stay involved in my children’s lives. I ended up being a Nanny for a new born, two kindergartners, one third grader and one 7th grader all at the same time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Using our imaginations…I enjoy facilitating organic play for the specific age and development of each child. Both my daughters are teachers and the one living in Wilmington (with 3 of my grands) owns a successful Montessori school and I support the Montessori approach. I have seen the amazing results of development focused learning in my own grandkids so I carry that into my caregiving roll as well. Explore to learn, play to grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making the difference everyday between a family having a good day and a great day! When you have skills, compassion, experience and great health, opportunities to do fulfilling work is always available; Nannying allows me to be effective at caring for others and I have always excelled at that.
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied for a family with 3 children ages 1, 2 and 4. The oldest 2 have Apraxia which is like verbal dyslexia but way more debilitating. I was part of this family’s journey to improvement and still am as they are my closest neighbors. Kids are now 3, 4 and 6 and a family member has asked to provide care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments have always been the outdoor walks, making “special” holiday gifts for parents and any excuse to create hoopla and celebration for any reason! I go big with making kids feel special, creative and proud of themselves.

Hi! My name is Niyah, and I’m a 22-year-old college student with a fun, outgoing, and energetic personality. I genuinely love being around kids, and they always seem to connect with me really easily. I have babysitting experience, mostly with younger children, and I’m very comfortable caring for kids because I’m also around my niece, nephew, and babies in my family often.

I also have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, and I’m always open to learning new skills, including CPR certification. I’d love the opportunity to support a family and be someone both parents and children can feel comfortable trusting!!
