I enjoy reading stories, building forts from blankets, drawing, singing kid songs. Going for walks, playing tag, bubbles, playground games, helping with homework, puzzles, pretend play, baking cookies together, trips, to a children's museum, aquarium, library story time, or a science center. Even a lazy picnic in the park counts. Those are safe, fun, and easy ways to keep kids curious and happy.

The most important part of being a nanny, to me, is building trust. When children feel safe and cared for, they relax, learn, and grow. Trust also lets parents feel confident and calm when they leave their kids in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are the little everyday ones. When a child runs to show me a wobbly drawing, proudly says a new word, or even manages to put on their shoes all by themselves. I love the trust in those moments too. A sleepy head resting on my shoulder, or a child laughing so hard at a silly game we created together. Those little sparks of growth, comfort, and joy are the moments I'll always treasure the most.
