More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve done volunteer work for 2.5 years coaching soccer for little ones with all different disabilities! It was an eye-opener and showed me kids are all different and it gave me the experience of learning how to take care of and make each child happy !
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoors, I love getting creative with arts and crafts projects. We can make colorful paintings, build cool structures with Legos, or even try our hand at DIY projects. When we're outside, I enjoy taking them to the park to run around, play on the swings, and have a picnic. We can also go on nature walks, explore new trails, or have a fun game of tag. The possibilities are endless! Whether we're inside or outside, my goal is to create a safe and enjoyable environment where kids can have a great time while learning and growing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong and nurturing relationship with the children I care for. It's about being a positive role model, providing a safe and loving environment, and fostering their growth and development. I strive to create a bond built on trust, respect, and open communication. Understanding their unique needs, interests, and personalities allows me to tailor my approach and provide the best care possible. Being a nanny is not just about supervising and entertaining, but also about being a supportive presence in their lives. Watching them learn, grow, and thrive brings me immense joy and fulfillment. It's truly a rewarding experience!
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve cared for all different children with special needs, I’ve trained them in soccer and learned how they respond to certain things, what they like and understand and how to make the best out of any situation to keep them safe and happy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories was when I made a fort with a little girl I was babysitting. We gathered blankets, pillows, and chairs to create our cozy little hideaway. We filled it with all sorts of snacks, from popcorn to cookies, and had a blast munching on them while playing games and doing different activities inside the fort. We giggled endlessly, told silly stories, and even had a mini dance party. It was such a joy to see her eyes light up with excitement and hear her infectious laughter fill the room. Moments like these remind me why I love being a nanny and the special bond that can be formed with the children I care for. It's all about creating magical memories and sharing endless giggles together!

Babysitter Available in Macomb, MI: Lily K.
Hi! My name is Lily, and I’d love to help out with babysitting. I have about 6 years of experience caring for kids of different ages, along with 2.5 years teaching Sunday school, so I’m really comfortable keeping kids engaged, safe, and having fun. I’m currently in nursing school at Oakland University, and I also work at the hospital as a patient transporter, which has helped me become very responsible, patient, and good in busy situations. I’m super friendly, reliable, and genuinely enjoy being around kids. I’d be happy to help however I can and make things easier for you!
