Or hands on play with a toddler learning to explore the world and all around. Or hanging out with an older child meeting them at their needs and planning what’s fun for them or leading through imaginary fun in whatever that may lead us.

One of my favorite moments was teaching a 2-year-old to count to ten. We practiced every day through songs and play, and the joy on their face when they finally did it on their own was priceless.
