More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
The volunteer program in Cúcuta, Colombia allowed me to develop through a cross-cultural experience. During the weekdays I went to the project at “Fundación San Andressen” with another Brazilian girl that also was there as a volunteer. We were responsable for creating and giving lessons in English to almost fifteen Venezuelan kids around 8 years old.
I had experiences as a teacher at a language club from October 2019 to February 2022 with a few different ages: from kids around 6 years old to teenagers up to 16 years old. With the yougest ones I always tried to use the most ludic activities because it is easier to make them enjoy the class.
I also had experiences here in the U.S taking care of a 6 months old boy and 5 to 12 year-old kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I think that is very important for kids to know the real world, so I intend to explore outdoor activities. On a sunny and chill day, we could play chess under the trees or maybe another board game during a picnic at the park, ride a bike, practice sports (I love to play soccer), swim, plant flowers etc. On rainy days, we can prepare a delicious hot chocolate and solve some puzzles, play with dolls or action figures, do origamis, or maybe create our own memory game.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I know how important it is to provide them individual attention and I am always happy to spend my time with them. I instigate them to not be afraid to try anything and to speak their minds. You can be sure that I will be a good example for them. A friend, a confidante, someone to trust and an adult who will always care about them.
My experience with special needs children...
One of the kids that I taught was an autism boy. He had his own world and a different way to learn so I always tried to find ways to include him in the activities respecting his own time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me it is really interesting how they connect with adults in different situations. The way they are able to express themselves and the way that they see life itself.
