I volunteered at a therapeutic riding center, where I would supervise and facilitate interactions with children and horses. I also worked at a character party company where I interacted with children and kept them engaged with the characters.

My experience with special needs children...
I am willing to learn how to care for special needs children. I have some experience with helping children that have trauma or often have tantrums. Kids have big emotions, and a lot of the times just haven’t learned how to express them in an effective way, so patience is always a great virtue when dealing with kids who may struggle with emotion regulation.
