A little bit about me

Hii my name is Francesca and I am a senior in high school. I currently work as a sensory/art teacher for children of all ages, including senior citizens and those who have special needs. I love children, I am really fun (but safe of course!) I can cook anything and everything, I enjoy cleaning and tidying up. I am able to help with any subject in school. I am cpr and first aid certified. I am free every day of the week, during the week I am free at any hour after 1:30. I am also studying psychology and I will be majoring in that in college, (just in case it comes in handy!) I really am easy, I do anything that is asked of me, I just enjoy helping out. I am also a huge animal lover, I myself have a cat, 2 dogs, a bunny, and a bird so animals are a plus! I also am a Girl Scout since I was in preschool, where we are constantly helping out in our community with people of all different backgrounds. I recently completed my Gold award where I collected books for a library for DV survivors.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I part time run a sensory art class where I have taught/watched over kids of all ages, including senior citizens and those with special needs. I also have babysitting experience for a little over 2 years as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outdoors, really anything the children love to do! I don’t have an issue or am uncomfortable with anything. I love board games, movies, cooking, anything is fine with me!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is engaging and bonding with the kids on a trustworthy familiar level. It should be unquestionable that I love and care for them undeniably. Creating a bond where a child is not only comfortable but loves being around you is so important.

My experience with special needs children...

I taught several art and sensory classes with a volunteer. Their parents trusted us to drop them off for about half the day as we watch them, hang out with them, and do fun crafts!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when one of the kids I was watching HATED english and we came up with a fun way to do his homework and it ended up becoming one of his favorite classes!
