Updating this, as it's been a few years, and there's been some new changes.

I have about 4 years of Nannying experiences for different families, and 3 years as an educator.

I am now CPR and First Aid certified!!

I have a license and a vehicle, and have attended car seat safety classes should that ever come up.

I'm looking to do part time or a live in, that helps with the day to day experiences.

I work as an assistant preschool teacher M-F 7:30am- 3 or 4pm. And I love my classes, my kiddos and every thing I've learned along the way. I would love to ads some of that love and learning to a families life

I love crafting, reading, and being with my dog and cat, whom currently live with my bf. I'm a HUGE animal lover.
I love baking and cooking and find organizing to be soothing.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Growing up, I spent a lot of time babysitting.

[phone number hidden] I worked at Challenger School as a preschool teacher, and extended teacher (after-school class of 2nd graders)
Since Fall of 2024, I've been at Guadalupe Center as an assistant preschool teacher for two half day classes. I have also occasionally helped in the toddler/infant rooms.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

•Crafts (play doh, science crafts, paper crafts, painting) *ABSOLUTE FAVORITE
• Spa days
• Water activites, especially but not limited to spraying them with hoses, making slip and slides, going to the lake, and playing with water balloons.
• Making creative short stories together and mad libs
• Shooting hoops
• Kid friendly baking and cooking
• Making mini movies
• Park days
• Trail walks
• Runway shows *boys are welcome to do so but typically this is a girl pastime*
• Board games, but I don't let them win

The most important part about being a nanny...

Love, trust and respect, and showing up.

They're not yours but loving them as if they were, is the first most important step.
And trust. It's earned, and it's important. Not just from the parents, but from the kids. Kids need to feel they are safe and can trust the people in their lives.
And respect. Children are NOT less than. They are not stupid. And the minute we start speaking to them as if they are, the minute we break them. They're just little people, with complex emotions that theyre still learning to handle. And we should treat them as such.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have far too many to count, as there have been so many.

Some top contenders however have been:
▪︎ Sonic Night with a very sonic obsessed 6 year old. We had sonic popcorn, watched sonic and he got about an hour of playing Sonic. He was over the moon
▪︎ Carboard box painting. Cutting open a card board box and letting them go ham at making a mural made for the cutest moment
