Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I try to keep activity’s based on family, some family’s prefer movies and quiet activities like arts and crafts while others like being outside and playing more active games like hide and seek, and role play based games. I will note if a child seems to like physical games more I will do my best to bring over puzzle and other board games (approved by parents first)
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with kids with ADHD and Other learning disability’s. I do not feel comfortable working with children with autism because I do not believe I have enough experience and or knowledge on how to properly accommodate them yet.
