Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I had a job as an assistant Childs soccer coach, helping teach children ages 1-8 trust, participation skills, how to include fellow teammates, and of course core soccer skills.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking children on walks to the park, playing pass or their favourite outdoor game, teaching board games, or any game they like to play. I like to create fun games for the children I am babysitting after I get to know them, so we always have something fun to look forward to!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of taking care of any child is that they are safe, and feel loved. If a parent(s) trusts you to look after their kid, you must ensure that they will be safe and well cared for. But having fun and creating a bond is a very close second!
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have any experience with children who have special needs, but I am open to learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favourite moments is when the children I was babysitting for 8 months and 3year old brothers. The older brother wanted me to help him create a song and performance for his younger brother. They both loved it!
