A little bit about me

I was born and raised in Dalton, Georgia, and I’ve always had a passion for working with children. From a very young age, I knew that my future would involve helping and teaching kids. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare, starting with babysitting when I was just 13 years old. As I got older, I spent five summers working at a summer camp, where I eventually became a lead counselor for two years. After that, I gained even more hands-on experience working at a daycare, which only strengthened my love for early childhood education.

Now, I’m proud to be working as a kindergarten paraprofessional, where I get to help children grow and learn every day. Watching them reach new milestones and knowing that I play a part in their development is incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about shaping future generations, and I’m excited to continue my career in education, helping children build strong foundations for their futures.

I worked at a summer camp for the past 4 years I’ve worked with kids 4-14 years of age.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I’ve always sorta known that I wanted to do something in the childcare area because past teachers and nannies I’ve had really inspired me to do so! So, to have a job that I love and enjoy while also getting more experience in the childcare area would be a big plus.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have a lot a experience but I have one year experience with special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Last summer I was a counselor for what we call out “junior day players” which are ages 4-5yrs. But I had this one kid who came up to me while we were outside on the play ground and they said “Ms. Gabby look!” They were was holding a playing card that had a heart on it and they said, “it has a heart which means I love you!” It was the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard from one of my kids I’ve had!
