Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several nephews and a niece who I've cared for from the time they were newborns until preteen years. I graduated from Greater New Bedford Voc Tech in 2018 where I was in the Early Childhood Education shop for all 4 years. I worked in a childcare center for a year after graduating. I also worked for Westport Community Schools for the [phone number hidden] school year as a group leader for their before & after school program.

Crafts, dramatic play, board/card games, outdoor exploring, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure children feel safe, loved, and comfortable being themselves. Children need someone who is patient, dependable, and willing to listen to them, not just someone to watch them. I believe it's important to build trust with both the children and their parents while creating a positive environment where children feel supported and can grow!
My experience with special needs children...
In my time at Westport Community Schools, there were two students with autism in my group. Additionally, one of my nephews has ADHD so I'm experienced in behavior management and positive redirection.

When I was caring for my youngest nephew and he said "Tititi" for the first time (all of my nephews and niece call me Titi).
