When needing to stay indoors, I love to present the children with some arts and crafts, some type of treat in the kitchen, and even some reading when needing to wind down. Typically taking a walk to a nearby park, or down to the beach is a fun way to get the kids out of the house while finding a release for the endless amounts of energy that children posses.
