Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love encouraging children to see what they gravitate towards! Whether we're inside and they want to build with blocks or paint or we take it outside and go for a walk where they're challenged to find leaves of a certain color--I mostly enjoy something that is stimulating for their minds.

I had been babysitting for a family for about 6 years and their little girl had just turned 12. Mom and dad were having a night to themselves and the little girl wanted to have 2 friends over so we decided on an outdoor movie night! Mind you, it was November so the weather was more than ideal, lol. I set up the projector outside and got the blowup mattress from upstairs to make the girls a little palette with pillows and blankets! We set up the fire pit and roasted s'mores while watching Christmas movies. It was the best!
