I previously nannied overnight so I didn't spend a whole lot of time with the little girl I used to watch, but on one weekend night, I was pouring so cereal when she came in and made herself some and then started playing Christmas music, it was in December. Seeing her laugh and dance around brought me so much joy. Knowing that she was safe and happy made me feel like I was doing something right.
