Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently completing my Associate Degree in Nursing and have pediatric clinical experience in the hospital setting, where I provided hands-on care to children and worked closely with families. I also completed pediatric coursework that included child development and child psychology. In addition, I have experience babysitting children from infancy through the teenage years. While working at Rosh Maternal Fetal Medicine, I also supervised and engaged children who accompanied their mothers to appointments, keeping them safe, comfortable, and occupied until their parent was finished. I am BLS certified through the American Heart Association and also completed Early Childhood Education coursework through Penn Foster.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a mix of creative, educational, and active activities with children. Indoors, I like arts and crafts, reading, puzzles, board games, baking, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning activities. Outdoors, I enjoy trips to the park, walks, playground time, nature activities, picnics, and simple games that keep kids active and engaged. I also like helping with homework, creating little projects, and finding activities based on each child’s interests and age.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, consistent, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I value building trust with both children and parents, respecting each family’s routines and expectations, and helping children grow with patience, encouragement, and age-appropriate independence.

I have experience caring for children with different developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs through babysitting, pediatric nursing clinicals, and my healthcare background. I’m patient, calm, and comfortable following individualized routines, communicating with parents, and adjusting my approach based on a child’s needs. My pediatric nursing and child-development coursework has also given me a better understanding of developmental differences and supportive, age-appropriate care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was watching a child I cared for become more confident trying something new after being nervous about it at first. We turned it into a fun little game, and by the end they were so proud of themselves. I love those moments when a child feels safe enough to learn, laugh, and be themselves.
