More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As part of my job working in an orthodontist office, I have had the opportunity to learn unique and creative ways to ease an anxious child as well as connecting with them and putting them at ease in what can be a stressful situation. I also have experience teaching dance to kids, ages 3-13 and have enjoyed matching their energy with mine and guiding them to reach their potential!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with children as well as preparing and baking fun and tasty treats! I also love reading to kids and sharing with them my love of literature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that any position in the childcare field is one that carries much responsibility as well as countless opportunities to bring love and fun into a child’s life. I view it less as “work” and more as a chance to invest in the life of a young person while helping them to embrace the beauty of childhood.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have a lot of experience working with kids with significant special needs, I have taught dance class to children who navigated special needs including Down syndrome, ADHD as well as those on the autism spectrum.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many fun memories in my experience working with children. One that especially stands out is the time I had the children help plan and execute a “surprise birthday party” for their mom. We had a lot of fun putting it together and even more fun surprising and celebrating their mom!
