I have extensive experience working with children across a range of ages and abilities through my roles as a primary school teacher, teacher's assistant, and certified swimming instructor. I also enjoy planning simple cooking or baking activities, reading together, organising age-appropriate educational games, and supporting physical play through sports, swimming, and movement-based activities. I have strong experience supporting children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory regulation difficulties, and learning differences. Through my work as a primary teacher and learning support officer, I’ve developed the ability to adapt routines, communication, and activities to suit each child’s strengths and challenges. I also have a special needs uncle, which has given me a personal, lifelong understanding of patience, inclusivity, and meeting children where they are.
