A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Gianna (Gigi). I have 8 years of childcare experience in different settings. I started babysitting my neighbors at age 14 and from there my passion for working with children blossomed. I went on to work in a child care center and as nanny for a few different families. I received my Undergraduate in Early Childhood Education and am currently enrolled in Bay Path University's Masters of Occupational Therapy program. As a teacher/child care provider, I follow practices of Dr. Maria Montessori. I believe children learn through play/work, in nature, and with empathy from caregivers. I believe in teaching independence and providing a warm, loving environment for children to flourish. I am open to PT positions(20-30hours/week), light cleaning and housekeeping, and meal preparation. I am flexible with hours and pay.
