The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being a nanny because every day is different. While we do have routines, I love the flexibility to be able to go out on a new adventure every day. Learning and exploring the world through the eyes of a child are truly the best, and no two days of growing are the same. I was with my last family for the past 11 years. Getting to watch both kids achieve a new skill, such as learning to read or tie their shoes first words. Being there for a child's first time at something, like rolling down a hill or a specific talent in a talent show. Witnessing small, but significant, milestones like "wobbly steps" or creating their first finger paintings. Then as a nanny you get a heartfelt "thank you" note or a simple expression of love from a child. Sharing a private joke or a silly, spontaneous moment. A Feeling a sense of accomplishment and witnessing the children's growth and accomplishments.
