A little bit about me

I am a kind nurturing nanny who loves to help children grow and experience their world. Mother of 3, grandma to 9. I have worked with children ages birth to 14 years in several settings, church child care, AISD as a teach assistant in sp ed classroom, 2 years teacher at a learning center, boy-scouts summer camp medical personal, and personal experience raising my 3 children. Reading is huge and I incorporate it in to the lives of the children who enter my life. I believe in playing with children not just watching them play. I have medical training as a paramedic and have been the medical officer for the Boy Scouts summer camps in the past. Cooking is a hobby of mine and I love to involve kids in it with me at whatever level is appropriate. I believe that kids will be kids and it is okay for the grownups who care for them to be kids when it comes to games, coloring, painting and playing outdoors. Life is what you make it and if you let them kids will make it brighter.
