A little bit about me

Hi my name is Giovanna , I'm 23 years old and I'm in the area of Grand Prairie Tx.(relocating to ciudad Juárez/el paso). I have 6+ years of experience in taking care of children since the age of 14. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, also First aid/CPR Certified. I work part time with a family M,W,T,TH and S. I worked in a daycare facility as an assistant teacher & I have gained more experience around all age children. I have taken care of newborns, 2-3 years old and older children (4years old - 12). Duties I'm able to do while babysitting is do indoor/outdoor play, do arts & crafts, nap time, as other activities as well. I have babysitting experience of my own since age 14, and also have worked at a daycare for 3 1/2 years.

Arts & crafts, indoor/outdoor play, go on walks, play dates or any fun related to going out with the mom & looking after the baby.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is knowing boundaries, and when to let parents know if something is off, communication to me is key & honestly sometimes parents who wfh may oversee your work and won’t let you do your role as a nanny. So I always let them to know there children are in good hands, to always ask questions and grow trust within time, which can be hard & I understand! But communication is where best relationships with parents start!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked previously with a special needs boys, set of twins, age 3. They were diagnosed with ptsd & autism, and it was hard at first getting to know them and for them to know me. Know their classmates and classrooms. Throughout the time, we learn how to communicate and interact with them, without interfering with other children who didn’t know sometimes how to talk to the boys, but they were the most sweetest children that I have ever know till this day & I hope they have learn and grown within the time.
