My experience with special needs children...

I have professional experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental needs. I have worked with both verbal and nonverbal children, including those who use AAC/LAMP communication systems.

My experience includes implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), supporting skill acquisition in communication, social interaction, and daily living skills, and managing challenging behaviors such as aggression, tantrums, and self-injurious behaviors (SIB).

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are when I see a child achieve something they were struggling with—whether it’s communicating a need, calming themselves down, or learning a new skill. It’s especially meaningful to be part of those small but important milestones and to support their growth with patience and care. I also truly enjoy the simple moments during play, like drawing, talking, and connecting with the child in a natural and positive way.
