At my current position in the city of Grapevine at the recreation center, I am involved with taking care of children in the childcare watch center while parents are able to take care of their needs and activities. As well in my free time I like to serve in elementary schools, especially with children that are in fourth grade and just being there to support them!!

What I loved most about working with kids is exploring their creativity whether it’s drawing, painting, or seeing what they love doing outside which can include sports, dance, or anything that really puts their mind to creativity is something I enjoy most.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The aspect that I value most about being a nanny is realizing that a child’s mindset is much different from what an adult is. For me, it is very important to make a child feel loved and special from the moment you walk into their household. I think it’s very important to remind them that although their mom and dad maybe at work or somewhere else that they have somebody there that is always there to support them and make them feel loved and special, just as if their parents were there and always remembering that their safety is a priority, especially for children as they may not always want to speak up, but by providing them that care and love they can feel like they have a voice at all times.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments especially during holiday times is getting to bake fresh cookies with the kids and having them all sit down and just enjoy a movie and take a time to really relax, as it also brings back sweet memories when I was a child which is really touching.
