I have worked in 2 different preschools. I have taught ages 2-3 and ages 3-4. I am currently working at a daycare with ages 2-4.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities with children are sensory art activities and water play during summer. I also enjoy singing and dancing, physical activities like sports and exercise, reading, and cooking/ baking.
My experience with special needs children...
I have been coordinating a class for children with special needs at the church I attend for 6 years now. We volunteer about 8 hours weekly. As a coordinator, I prepare lesson plans, fun activities, and work with them one on one. In our class we have children ranging from ages 5-13 and a few adults we care for as well. I have had the opportunity to work with different diagnosis like Down syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and on some cases children with multiple diagnosis.
