Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy using a Montessori-inspired approach tailored to each child’s age and abilities. With toddlers and babies, I focus on simple practical-life activities such as practicing fine motor skills, reading to them, and time to play with toys, away from screens. I also add plenty of outdoor exploration at local parks. For preschoolers and elementary aged kids, I like to do hands-on learning like sorting, simple food prep, sensory play, and visits to museums and libraries where they can discover the world at their own pace. I also introduce more independent projects such as nature time, journaling, and puzzles that spark curiosity and deeper understanding. No matter the age, I aim to create meaningful, engaging experiences that support independence and a love of learning.
