"Gloria started taking care of our little one when he was only a month old. She was incredibly reliable, conscientious of our concerns as new parents, and always sought to both improve her skills and provide a safe, nurturing environment for our child.
On reliability, there was an ice storm a month after Gloria started working for us. She strapped on ice cleats and walked to our house even though the roads were impassable to cars and buses.
Conscientiousness: our little one was born just before the 'triple-demic' of RSV, COVID, and Flu in 2022. Gloria wore an N-95 mask whenever she was in our house for the entire first year she took care of our child.
On skills: Gloria hadn't worked with newborns before she started taking care of our little one, but committed herself to learning along with us by taking online classes.
We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again and can wholeheartedly recommend her to you too."

I was an au pair for 1 year in the Netherlands taking care of two school aged Dutch children and for another year in Seattle taking care of 3 school aged children. During my au pair terms I performed both caregiving and household assistance roles. I was a professional nanny for 3 years taking care of infants and toddlers . I also did 2 nanny shares for almost a year.

Singing for babies, going for walks , pretend games, storytelling, reading books, climbing trees, racing, playing tags, building , playing with clay/ dough, painting, board games, monkey bars and anything they enjoy doing.

My experience with special needs children...
I spent 6 weeks as an au pair caring for a child with Kabuki syndrome and autism. During this term I attended her ABA therapy sessions and gained some professional techniques to engage with autistic children. I also occasionally babysat 2 children with Asperger for one year.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Taking babies outside and seeing the world through their eyes. First time bus and train rides with babies. Teaching kids how to ride a bicycle and when a child I took care of from birth became my wedding ring bearer. I love being a nanny and it has changed my life a lot.
