I have been a regular babysitter for a family watching a 5 year old and a 2 year old for almost 2 years now. I have done overnights with the kids as well and feel it has given me great experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting off of screens and tablets and out of the house! I have a pool that we can swim in, I know a lot of great parks and walking trails, and grabbing some frozen yogurt. I think even children need breaks sometimes!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was a camp counselor for 5 year olds, and one child was really struggling in the foster care system. We formed a great bond and would spend time playing during activities. He hugged me on his last day and said thank you. It made me love working with children!
