Hi! My name is Grace, I have had experience with childcare for over six years, but I have been paid for four years. I have worked with infants in the nursery and with friends I have seven siblings I’ve taken care of all of them and they’re all younger than me I cook I clean. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught and Sunday school for about three or four years and I also helped a nursery. I also did in-home nannying for family friends. I worked with a bunch of special-needs children children that needed help with their schooling. Some children that needed help with eating I helped with an adult That had special needs. My specialty is babies. I always get told that I have natural melatonin.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to just color draw or go out on a walk or play out in the grass if it’s sunny let’s play in the hose if it’s cold, let’s go and drink some hot cocoa and watch a movie or color do themed things bake I like practical things so teaching them how to do life skills is also a fun thing of mine with some of the older girls that I’ve done I’ve taught them how to sew Some of the boys love to learn how to cook. I love to do anything and I also love tips from the parents on what they want me to teach them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is the kids brain development. Yes it’s all fun and games and you want them to enjoy themselves, but you also want them to feel nurtured and cared for that and their futures they feel confident confident in themselves and that’s what I’m here for. I’m here to pour into them. I’m here to make them feel as confident as possible so that they can go out in this crazy world and do something great because I believe every child is just as bright as the next.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve helped with two special needs boys and change their diapers and fed them. I took care of a 30-year-old special-needs woman who needed help with her brain development and feeding and lighthouse work. I also hoped with my brother and my sister and their schooling.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is when I was baking with the kids and we got flour accidentally on our shirts so we started to play with the flower and the sugar of course I cleaned it up but it’s the memories that make the most they still contact me and asked me if I can come over and bake
