I do not have any experience with special needs children beyond babysitting a child who had some difficulties in some areas. But I have a heart that is compassionate and patient, and is more than willing to learn how to care for and to understand special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time when I was babysitting a friend's children, we had a grand time playing outside and taking turns rolling safely down a hill. Another time in that same week, me and the kids went on a walk in the park. It was so fun exploring with them!
