I am a retired social worker who previously worked for the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and for the past six years I have worked as a full-time nanny with the same family. I began caring for their oldest child when he was just 5 months old, and the family has since grown to include a 3-year-old and an 8-month-old.
I have worked with children and young adults of varying ages, abilities, and needs, including both typically developing children and children with special needs and disabilities.
I truly enjoy being an active and involved nanny planning outings and activities, reading, playing, encouraging learning and independence, and helping children grow in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.
I am also happy to helpcle with light household responsibilities related to the family, including dishes, children’s laundry, meal preparation, and keeping the children’s areas organized.

While I’m newer to nannying and babysitting professionally, I’ve had lots of hands-on experience caring for my two younger sisters since they were babies, so I’m very comfortable with younger kids. I’m outgoing, patient, and love keeping kids engaged and having fun. I enjoy things like crafts, being outside, and going on little adventures, so I always try to make the time fun and interactive while still being responsible and attentive. I also work part-time as a server in an independent living home, which has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and caring for others. I have my license, so transportation isn’t an issue!
