Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working as both a 2nd grade and 4th grade teacher, spending two summers as a preschool assistant, and teaching several after-school programs for children in grades K–2. These experiences helped me build strong skills in working with children of different ages, personalities, and needs while creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include baking, reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and fun day trips such as aquariums, museums, bowling, libraries, and play groups. I also love encouraging active play through nature walks, chalk activities, sports, bike rides, and other hands-on experiences that help children stay creative, engaged, and active.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Building trust with both the children and their families is so important to me, and I love being able to make everyday moments fun, comforting, and memorable while helping children learn, grow, and feel confident being themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a degree in Special Education and have experience working with children with special needs throughout both school and childcare settings. In high school, I participated in the Unified Partners program and worked in ESY (Extended School Year) programs. I also babysat for two summers for an elementary-aged child with Down syndrome. These experiences helped me develop patience, adaptability, and an understanding of how to support children with a wide range of needs while creating a positive and inclusive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is building strong relationships with families and getting to be part of both the big and small moments in a child’s life. I love watching children grow in confidence, personality, and independence over time, while creating fun memories and becoming someone both the children and parents can trust and feel comfortable with.
