A little bit about me

Hi there! I am a pediatric nursing student and part time nanny! Throughout high school I took care of neighbors’ children and throughout my short time at college I have found wonderful families and have watched multiple of their kiddos. I currently work 8am-1pm with a two year old who I been with for a little under a year and occasionally a four year old. Since beginning to watch the littlest one she has made incredible progress in crucial developmental skills (happy to provide details upon request). My strong suits include teaching and nurturing emotional wellbeing, helping a child learn and grow, and providing room for creativity and enjoyment. Working with children is definitely one of my passions, and with also having to take care of my school bills, I’d love to take on more, whether it be as needed nannying or nannying on a schedule that works with mine.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a big lover of creating learning opportunities through creative processes and otherwise normal activities, i.e. for my two year old we count the steps we take or for my four year old we like to identify the first letter of whatever color we are coloring with, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The little one I watch calls me “Waddy” (we have no idea why!). Her mom playfully turned her upside down and she yells “Waddy!!! Help!!!” One of the cutest moments, and there’s a lot of those so that’s saying a lot.
