I was a live-in nanny for a month in California and I was having such a hard time getting the youngest to get used to me. On my second week, I had set him on my lap watching a movie and he grabbed my hand and told me that I was his best friend. That has got to be my favorite moments as a nanny.

Hi my name is Anna and I have been working with kids since I can remember! I have siblings 4 and 9 years younger than me that I grew up nannying. I started working in a childcare nursery at 14 and worked there for 4 years and loved every second of it. We would have up to 12 infants at a time and if that doesn’t tell you how well I handle chaos I’m not sure what will. My favorite part of watching kids is getting them away from their screens and coming up with creative activities for us to do together. Some of my favorites are shaving cream slides, scavenger hunts, any type of art, yard games, and lots of chalk!
