A little bit about me

Hello y’all! My name is Grace simoncini! I am 19 years old! I am a student at Cuyamaca community college, soon to be transferring to SDSU! I am majoring in childhood education! I want to be an elementary teacher! Right now I work for the La Mesa- Spring Valley School District as a student helper! I have worked in preschool settings. I work at an elementary school as a student helper. I teach children of all ages on how to read, write, spell, you name it! I have a passion for education and children.
Something's I like to do is exercise and sit down and read! I love to bring activities and crafts with me!
I am very comfortable with taking kids out and just having fun! If needed, I can and feel comfortable taking kids out on walks, go to the park, etc!
I am CPR certified and have been live scanned/ background checked. Because of my work at my school, I was trained on how to work and teach children on the spectrum and who have behavioral issues!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a student helper at La Mesa- Spring Valley area! teach children of all ages on how to read, write, spell, you name it and I teach it to small groups. I have a passion for education and children! I am working right now to get my bachelor’s degree in childhood education. I do many different babysitting jobs and work with kids of all ages. I have also babysat and taught with special needs children. With many different jobs, I have also dog sitted. I have done small jobs like walking a dog for a few hours, to even staying home with the pet for a few days!

I love doing indoor and outdoor activities! I love going on walks, hiking, etc! I have crafts that I like to bring with me as well!

The most important part of being a nanny is learning and growing with the kiddos and the families that I come into contact with! Learning how to approach certain obstacles and learning goals!

My experience with special needs children...

At my original job, I teach and have hands on experience with special needs kiddos! All kids are unique, do every child is different with all sorts of things! I experienced through working with these kiddos! It makes me passionate to learn more! I have taught kids on the spectrum to deal with classroom settings, and how to handle different tasks, like reading and writing; while also staying on tasks!

Honestly it's hard to say what my favorite nanny moment is! I have so many! It does range from, helping kiddos solve an issue, to dressing up as our favorite characters and running around and dancing!
