Apart from taking care of children in the household setting, one of my most relevant experiences caring for children was during the summer when I volunteered at a camp for St. Mary's Church. I had the opportunity to supervise and engage with a large group of children in various activities such as visiting the James River and going to science museums. Developing meaningful connections with each child was particularly amazing because it allowed me to appreciate their unique personalities and interests.

In my opinion, I believe the most important aspect of being a nanny is developing a strong connection with children and their families. The goal is to provide a safe and caring atmosphere where children feel well taken care of and at ease. Effective communication is essential to ensuring that everyone's needs and expectations are met, including the children and their parents or guardians. Being dependable, patient, and flexible are also essential traits because each child is different and may require different approaches to care.
